Govtoday is pleased to announce our National Energy and Power 2012 Conference and Exhibition, Meeting the Energy Demand, to be held at the prestigious Brewery Conference Centre, London, on Tuesday 18th September 2012.
The Annual Energy Statement, delivered to Parliament on 23rd November 2011, outlined the progress Government has made over the last twelve months, as well as the policies currently in place. The statement also highlighted the impacts of policy on energy prices and bills.
Furthermore, the Department of Energy and Climate Change clearly outlined the crucial importance of the reduction of energy usage in homes, and introduced a number of initiatives to assist this goal:
Meeting the Energy Demand will examine Government policy and the direction that the UK as a nation must take to ensure a secure and stable energy supply, whilst asking how we can create a variable energy mix that incorporates the latest technology to guarantee demand will be met.
